SEO Case Study [0 - 56K Clicks In 3 Months]

Situation

In January 2025, a digital creator wanted to grow traffic on their website. At the time, the site was only getting 50 to 100 clicks per day. The big question was: Could AI-written content really help boost these numbers?

Task

The goal was simple but bold: increase daily traffic and keyword rankings using mostly AI-generated blog posts and articles. They wanted to prove that AI content could still rank well on Google in 2025.

Action

Here’s what they did, step by step:

✅ Keyword Research – They used a tool called Ahrefs (cheap plan) to find low-difficulty keywords (score 0–10) with at least 500 searches per month. This made sure they weren’t picking keywords too hard to rank for.

✅ AI Writing Tools – At first, they used ChatGPT and Claude AI manually. But later, they built their own tool, Word Rocket, to speed things up. This tool auto-generated SEO-optimized content, created blog images, and even added interactive tools (like savings calculators) inside articles.

✅ In-Depth, Interactive Content – Every blog post wasn’t just plain text. It included:

  • Long articles (about 3,000 words)

  • Tables, lists, emojis

  • Interactive tools (like timelines or calculators)

  • Custom images made with AI
They also made sure to include internal links naturally inside articles.

✅ Easy Posting – Once the AI generated everything, they copied the content into WordPress, added the images and HTML code, checked the SEO title and meta description, and clicked publish!

Result

In just 4 months, the website traffic skyrocketed:

🚀 From 50–100 clicks a day → over 800–1,000 clicks a day
🚀 Ranking for over 10,000 organic keywords
🚀 30,000 visitors per month

All thanks to mainly AI-written content, backed up by smart tools and solid SEO strategies.

AI Writing Techniques [NotebookLM for SEO]

Situation

In 2025, an SEO expert wanted to speed up and improve their content research process. They were looking for ways to find better keywords, competitor insights, and content ideas—without spending hours digging through Google searches manually. Ever felt overwhelmed with SEO research? That’s exactly where they were.

Task

The goal was to find faster, smarter ways to research SEO content by using a tool called Google NotebookLM, especially its Discover Source feature. They aimed to boost the quality of keyword research, content gaps, FAQs, and authority signals for SEO content.

Action

Here’s how they used NotebookLM in 7 smart ways:

  1. Competitor Content Gap Analysis

    • Imported blog posts from competitors like Asana using search operators (like site:asana.com/blog) and date filters.

    • Compared competitor content to their own to spot missing topics by customer journey stage.

  2. Generate Better FAQs

    • Pulled common questions from forums like Reddit and keyword tools like Ahrefs.

    • Used NotebookLM to group FAQs by search intent (like “getting started” or “music theory”) for a more organized FAQ page.

  3. Find Authority Signals

    • Imported content from trusted sites and high-ranking pages.

    • Asked NotebookLM to list what makes these pages authoritative—like expert quotes, research data, or real examples.

  4. Semantic Keyword Clustering

    • Gathered sources on topics like “Leadership in the AI Age.”

    • Created mind maps and semantic clusters to break big topics into subtopics, helping organize future blog content.

  5. Keyword Gap Analysis

    • Collected top content about topics (like “DIY room painting”) from search results.

    • Compared those pages’ keywords to their own article to see what important keywords were missing.

  6. YouTube Research for Content Ideas

    • Imported YouTube videos on the topic directly into NotebookLM.

    • Pulled insights from popular videos to shape content outlines.

  7. Extract Key Insights Faster

    • Used NotebookLM to pull important stats, data, and insights from trusted sources, helping add authority and depth to content.

Each step saved time and gave deeper insights than using Google alone.

Result

✅ Content research was done faster and more organized.
✅ Found keyword gaps, content gaps, and authority signals quickly.
✅ Built stronger, deeper SEO content with FAQs, semantic clusters, and trusted references.

In short, using NotebookLM didn’t just save time—it made their SEO content better, more authoritative, and more competitive.
